The International Film & Television Research Center (IFTRC) is the first and the only film & television research centre in the private sector in India. It was established by Sandeep Marwah in 1996. The objective of International Film & Television Research Center (IFTRC) is to support the production of interesting and purposeful visual media programs. IFTRC routinely conducts debates, workshop, seminars, symposia on media related subjects. It also invites national and international media professionals, intellectuals and public figures for interaction with the press, and television organizations etc. The centers of IFTRC are presently functioning in 94 countries of the world to gather information for analysis and policy formulations. More than 18 researches on topics relating films, television programming, advertising and sex and violence in the visual media, have to far been conducted by IFTRC. International Film & Television Research Center has its own publication division where research papers, periodicals and book are brought out for distribution across the world. Under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah International Film & Television Research Center has been providing useful information to the Indian film industry for its growth.
